Daydreaming è una pubblicazione online fondata nel 2007 a Trieste (Italia) da Nanni Spano, dedicata esclusivamente all’immagine creativa nelle sue molteplici forme.
Il suo scopo, delineato da una precisa scelta editoriale, è raccogliere ed esibire il lavoro di artisti del visuale in forma pura, presentandolo semplicemente come dato a sé stante: nessuna notizia riguardante gli artisti, nessuna indagine critica sulle opere, nessuna informazione aggiuntiva che possa in qualche modo distrarre dall’immediatezza dell’impatto tra l’opera e il fruitore.
Daydreaming è organizzato in uscite periodiche che andranno a comporre l’archivio generale, consultabile in qualsiasi momento da chiunque.
La pubblicazione dei lavori in Daydreaming avviene a titolo gratuito e a discrezione dello staff.
Il materiale inviatoci non verrà manipolato in alcun modo dallo staff se non previo consenso dell’autore, e in ogni caso eventuali ritocchi riguarderanno soltanto l’impaginazione.
L’obiettivo immediato di Daydreaming è provvedere alla costruzione di uno spazio espositivo globale attraverso un indagine che parte dal territorio circostante per muovere successivamente in ogni direzione geografica e soprattutto artistica a noi concessa.

Daydreaming is an online magazine founded in 2007 in Trieste (Italy) by Nanni Spano and exclusively dedicated to the creative image in its many forms.
Its aim, born from a precise editorial choice, is collecting and exhibiting the work of visual artists in a pure form, presenting it simply as data itself: no artist bio, no critical analysis of the works, no extra info that could in any way distract from the immediate impact the work has on the watcher.
Daydreaming is organized in periodical issues which will compose the general archive, which anyone can browse any time.
The publication of works in Daydreaming is free and subject to the sole discretion of its staff.
The material we receive will not be modified in any way by the staff without the express approval of the author; the only modifications will be to the layout.
The immediate target of Daydreaming is building a global exhibition space through a research which starts from the territory around us and later expands in any geographical and artistic direction we are allowed to.

DDProject ha realizzato per il secondo anno consecutivo BLOOMSDAY, la celebrazione della figura di James Joyce nella ricorrenza del 16 giugno, giorno in cui si svolge il suo romanzo Ulisse. L'edizione 2010 ha proposto “Quattro artisti in viaggio con Ulisse” esposizione delle opere di Ugo Pierri, Guglielmo Manenti, Aka B e Luigi Tolotti, che hanno interpretato in modo originale l'opera e la figura dello scrittore irlandese.

DDProject has arranged for the second time BLOOOMSDAY, the celebration of the irish writer James Joyce and his famous work Ulisses, the 16 june which is the day of the novel's action. The 2010 Bloomsday is an exhibition in real expositive places. titled “Four artists tripping with Ulisses” with works by Ugo Pierri, Guglielmo Manenti, Aka B and Luigi Tolotti, who have interpreted in an original way Joyce's work and figure.

A desecrating visionary ability push down from the pedestal the Joyce-myth and turn it with a sharp irony in a bestiary of passions.

“Epiphanies”

A vain wandering on the roads of exile take Bloom-Joyce through enigmatic visions, with a bright twilinght cromatism.

“The 12 labours of Joyce”

A strong stroke draws Joyce in twelve thick and dark versions, which show a character worn out by creative torture, between seeing and blindness .
